The linear axis can be integrated into the module slot thanks to the standardized hardware interface. The modular design makes it possible to adapt the additionally required functionality of a linear axis to an existing HLA-M basic machine, as long as it has a table top with WPT module slot. The control system already integrated in the basic machine completes the modular design in terms of software and realizes a flexible and smooth expansion of the existing system. The linear axis can then be operated intuitively via the additionally available joystick (optional), the integrated touch panel or the pushbutton supplied with the axis in the operating box of the HLA.
