Open laser welding machine – Flex

The OLA-F model was developed for the reliable production of highly complex components weighing up to 600 kg. This open laser system has 6 NC axes (X, Y, Z1, Z2, A & C) in the maximum expansion stage. In addition, further manually adjustable axes are possible. The kinematic axis structure and the arrangement of the motorized and manual axes can be freely selected. This means that there are hardly any limits to the component geometry. The dimensions and the equipment of the system can be customized. Additional modules, such as a rotary swivel unit, multifunction island and joystick, can be retrofitted via plug and play.

Handling
All machine and laser functions can be operated innovatively via the control panel. The WPT control system is designed for maximum user-friendliness and is constantly being further developed. The various operating modes; manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic; enable flexible use of the system, independent of batch size and machine operator. The innovative joystick with teach functions completes the operating concept of the OLA machines.
